Hang Meas, 26 April 2018, Cambodia pushes export capacity of agricultural goods to Thailand and Vietnam (Khmer language)

The news covers the Facilitating Trade for Agricultural Goods in ASEAN (FTAG) project support in trade facilitation to tackle issue on phytosanitary barriers on six commodities: mango, banana, chili, lychee, longan and dragon fruit between Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. 

The article includes speech by Dr. Chan Phaloeun, Deputy Director General, General Directorate of Agriculture, Cambodia on the need for phytosanitary cooperation to better facilitate trade of agricultural goods agreed between the three countries, as well as to facilitate regional trade activities. Mr. Günter Riethmacher, GIZ Country Director of Cambodia, in his remarks stated that FTAG project is carried along with Thailand and Vietnam to support trade facilitation with focus on food safety and phytosanitary measures.
