This brief explores the role of systemic leadership in addressing climate-smart land use challenges in Southeast Asia. Drawing on insights from the ASEAN Climate Leadership Programme (ACLP), it examines how leadership can drive transformational change towards a low-carbon, climate-resilient, and food-secure future. It also presents the programme’s leadership approach, shares key lessons learned, and offers recommendations for strengthening systemic leadership to support the work of the ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN) and climate action across ASEAN.
