Addressing food security in the context of climate change requires leaders who can drive change, foster collaboration, and navigate interconnected challenges across sectors. Launched in 2020, the ASEAN Climate Leadership Programme (ACLP) brought together 27 participants from nine ASEAN Member States for a 2.5-month virtual learning and exchange programme. Designed to strengthen leadership in climate change, food security, and sustainable land management, ACLP supported the work of the ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN) and contributed to ASEAN’s climate resilience and sustainable agriculture priorities by fostering more informed, collaborative, and inclusive leadership across the region.
